Each tablet contains : trelagliptin

Trelagliptin is a dpp-4 inhibitor that helps control blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It works by increasing the levels of incretin hormones, which stimulate insulin release in a glucose-dependent manner and reduce glucagon secretion, thereby improving glycaemic control without causing significant hypoglycaemia.

In the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents
Common side effects include headache, nasopharyngitis, dizziness, and mild gastrointestinal discomfort
Trelagliptin inhibits the dpp-4 enzyme, leading to increased levels of active incretin hormones (glp-1 and gip). These hormones enhance glucose-dependent insulin secretion and suppress glucagon release, resulting in improved blood glucose control.
